G.S.R. 14(E).- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, on being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following amendment, in the notification of the Government of India i n the M i ni stry of Finance (Department of Revenue), No. 82/2017-Customs, dated the 27th October, 2017, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part I I, Section 3, Sub-section (i), vide number G.S.R. 1341(E), dated the 27th October, 2017, namely:‑
Against S. No. 157, for the entry in column (4), the entry “20% or Rs. 100 per kg., whichever is higher”, shall be substituted.
