Re: Premium Rates for Motor Third Party Liability Insurance Cover
Reference is drawn to Order of the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (IRDAI) bearing Ref: IRDAINL/NL/NTFN/MOTP/91/06/2018 dated 4th June, 2019 on Premium Rates for Motor Third Party Liability Insurance Cover for FY 2019-20.
2. It is hereby notified that by virtue of powers vested in the Authority under Section 14 (2) (i) of IRDA Act, 1999, the IRDAI hereby extends the validity of premium rates set out in the aforementioned Order beyond 31st March, 2020, until further notice.
3. In other words, insurers shall continue to charge the rates currently being charged for Motor Third Party Liability Insurance Cover from 1st April, 2020 onwards until further orders.
