In the case of re-export of defective or unfit goods or re-assessment of debited duty, Customs issues a Re-credit Certificate containing particulars of scrip used, date of import of re-exported goods and amount debited while importing such goods / re-assessment details.
Exporters of pharmaceutical products will be required to affix barcodes on their export products to facilitate tracing and tracking of their products. In order to enable exporters of pharmaceutical products for incorporation of this technology, adequate time is being given and that is why para 3 will be made applicable on 1st July 2011.
The exporters were required to submit the application for grant of Export Licence for Restricted items alongwith the self certified copy of Export Order/Purchase Order/ Proforma Invoice. But, in order to reduce the transaction cost, this requirement has been dispensed with. Now, the exporters will be required to only indicate the name and address of foreign buyers in the application form.
The exporters of Grapes covered by ITC HS Code 0806 are entitled for additional 2% Duty Credit Scrip, over and above the normal rate under the VKGUY Scheme. This shall apply in respect of exports made on or after the date of this Public Notice.

Wires are also permitted as an admissible input to be imported under the condition that such wire must be of larger diameter than the exported end product. There is no change in quantity of input permitted per tonne of export item.
