Notification No. 91/2017–Customs Seeks to increase import tariff rate on specified electronic goods under First Schedule to the Customs Tariff Act by invoking section 8A (1) of the Customs Tariff Act
It has been decided that irrespective of the amount, the EPF claimant should submit cancelled cheque in original (containing claimant’s name, bank account number & IFS Code of the bank branch printed on it) with all type of claims.
In case the client already having an account based relationship with reporting entities prior to the date of publication of this notification in the official Gazette fails to submit the Aadhaar number and Permanent Account Number by such date as may be notified by the Central Government, the said account shall cease to be operational till the time the Aadhaar Number and Permanent Account Number is submitted by the client.”

It has been decided that all agency banks should settle their agency transactions for both funds and agency commission directly with the concerned Regional Office of Reserve Bank instead of routing them through any other agency bank that acts as aggregator in certain cases
