Where can I file my TDS/TCS return? You can file your TDS/TCS return at any of the TIN-FCs managed by NSDL. TIN-FCs are set-up at specified locations across the country. Details are given in the NSDL-TIN website. These can also be furnished directly at NSDL-TIN web-site.

How do I file my quarterly e-TDS/TCS return, if I don’t have PANs of all deductees? You can file your e-TDS/TCS return for the deductees who have valid PANs and subsequently file correction return for remaining deductees whose PANs were not available with you while furnishing regular return.

RBI comittee recommends increase in PPF Deposit Limit from Rs. 70,000 to Rs. One Lac

The RBI Committee has recommended increasing the deposit limit under PPF Scheme from existing Rs. 70,000 to Rs. 1 lakh per annum and fixing of rate of interest on advances against deposits in PPF scheme at 2 percentage points as against the prevailing interest rate on such advances at 1%.

At the outset. I would like to inform you categorically that for the present the scheme will not be applied to exporters. OSPCA will be implemented in a phased manner beginning only with importers who avail the Accredited Clients Programme (ACP). Other categories of importers would be covered in subsequent phases but even then, taking into account administrative costs of conducting OSPCA and the nature and size of the business It is not intended to cover all importers and the present Custom House Audit shall continue side-by-side with OSPCA I may add that OSPCA would require an effective Risk Management System (RMS) as an essential prerequisite, which is so far not even introduced on the export side.
