Date of effect to proviso to Section 16(3) of MVAT Act

NOTIFICATION

MAHARASHTRA TAX LAWS (LEVY, AMENDMENT AND VALIDATION) ACT, 2016.

No. VAT.1516/C.R. 83/ Taxation-1.—In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (c) of sub­section (1) of the Maharashtra Tax Laws (Levy, Amendment and Validation) Act. 2016 (Mah. XV of 2016), the Government of Maharashtra hereby appoints the 10th June 2016 to be the date on which the provisions of  Sub-section (1) of Section 10 of the said Act, shall come into force.
