Notification No. 36/2002-Customs (N.T.)

In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 4 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Board of Excise and Customs hereby makes the following amendments in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue No. 15/2002-Customs(N.T.) dated the 7^th March, 2002, namely:-

In the Table to the said notification,

(a) for Sr.No. 3 and the entries relating thereto, the following shall be substituted, namely:-

(e) for Sr.No. 14 and the entries relating thereto, the following shall be substituted, namely:-

(a) The whole of the area in the districts of Surendranagar (except Dasada Taluka), Rajkot, Porbandar, Jamnagar, Morbi, Amreli, Bhavnagar, Junagadh and Kutch in the State of Gujarat (excluding the areas falling under the jurisdiction of the Commissioner of Customs, Kandla).

(b) Diu of the Union territory of Daman and Diu

(a) The whole of the State of Tamilnadu (excluding the areas falling under the jurisdiction of Commissioners of Customs, (Airport and Aircargo) Chennai, Port(Import) Chennai and Port(Export) Chennai); and

(b) The Union territory of Pondicherry excluding Mahe Commune and Yanam Territory.
