Notification No. 58/2005, Dated 17-2-2005

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 295 read with sub-section (11B) of section 80-IB of the Income-tax Act, 1961 (43 of 1961), the Central Board of Direct Taxes hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Income-tax Rules, 1962, namely:—

1. (1) These rules may be called the Income-tax (Fifth Amendment) Rules, 2005.

(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.

2. In the Income-tax Rules, 1962,—

(a)  after rule 18DC, the following rule shall be inserted, namely:—

 “18DD. Form of report for claiming deduction under sub-section (11B) of section 80-IB.—The report of an accountant which is required to be furnished by the assessee along with the return of income under sub-section (11B) of section 80-IB shall be in Form No. 10CCBC.”;

(b)  in Appendix II after Form No. 10CCBB, the following Form shall be inserted, namely:—
