Board hereby makes the following regulations to further amend the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Issue of Capital and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2009. These regulations may be called the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Issue of Capital and Disclosure Requirements) (Second Amendment) Regulations, 2014.
It has been brought to the notice of the Board that some of the officers are issuing notices to the taxpayers/witnesses/representatives etc. indicating a standard time of appointment. Thus, many persons called for hearing etc. on a day by an officer are given the same time for appearance. Naturally the persons are made to wait for their turn. Such actions, apart from causing avoidable inconvenience to the taxpayers/witnesses/representatives etc. cause great embarrassment to the Government.
Policy instructions/guidelines issued through Orders, OMs, etc. may be uploaded on the official website of the Ministry/Department/Organization. Number of hard copies of such communications may be limited to the required minimum.
Cabinet Secretary in his recent directives to Revenue Secretary has emphasised that ‘cleanliness of work areas and improvement in the over-all ambience of office buildings as also punctuality on the part of the officials should be reviewed on sustained basis so that there is a visible improvement and that there are no report of slippages in this regard,’

In addition in case in any SION, a single quantity has been indicated against number of inputs (more than one input), then quantities of such inputs to be permitted for import shall be in proportion to the quantity of these inputs actually used/consumed in production, within overall quantity against such group of inputs.
