T.R.RadhakrishnanWhat makes people react so spontaneously to whatever that this one and the only man does? No political leader worth the name in the entire nation draws so much attention than the controversial and mercurial personality called Narendra Modi. “Great Individuals are not only popular themselves, but they give popularity to whatever they touch.” Besides, “True Popularity is not the popularity which is followed after, but popularity which follows after.” The exceptional achievements and transition of Narendra Modi from an unknown small town ordinary “Chaiwala” to that of the exalted position of the Prime Minister of the largest democracy in the world is an inspiring story for the present generation and also for generation next. This also exemplifies the strength of Indian democracy and the opportunity that it offers even to the ordinary people who are of no significance and consequence. It also restored the dignity of the “Aam Admi”. George Bernard Shaw said, “Ordinary people adapt themselves to the world. The extra-ordinary person tries to adapt the world to him. Hence the progress and development of the world is through extra-ordinary people.” Narendra Modi has proved that he is an ordinary man who went that extra mileage to achieve extraordinary things.

“Experience is not what happens to a man. It is what a man does with what happens to him.” Besides, “The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands in times of challenge and controversy.” That will determine what initiative he has to take. Narendra Modi faced great challenges and adverse conditions when he was the Chief Minister of Gujarat and also when he was chosen first to lead his party in the election and then when he was chosen as the Prime Ministerial candidate. Even now after becoming the Prime Minister of India he faces every adverse situation with true grit.

PM Narendra Modi addressing the UN General Assembly

Leadership is all about achievements in life depending upon the way in which the leader approaches the tasks. When a leader accepts a tough job as a challenge and takes the initiative to face it with joy and enthusiasm, miracles can happen. When the leader does his work with a dynamic, conquering spirit, he gets things done. Success is the product of initiative and initiative is to do the right things at the right time and that too without being told. Perseverance and commitment are the two qualities required to take the initiative to face the challenges and to produce success that the leader ardently seeks. Attitude plays a key role to meet the challenges and to take the initiatives. “Success or failure is caused more by mental attitudes than my mental capabilities.”  And “No condition or set of circumstances is in itself a calamity to be feared. It is our reaction to it that makes it a ‘waterloo’ or a field of triumph.” The steps initiated by him as Prime Minister based on his principles of good governance, make in India and working together for the progress of all show his intentions and integrity for the veritable realization of the national objectives to lead the nation to a formidable height of development and progress to make the nation an economic power. A formidable task well begun is half done.

The nation wishes you very many happy returns of the day and God Bless You.

Remembering the PM is ok but advise? why the taxation system is so bad in india, with such visionary Narendra Modiji- as our PM.Why GST is a failure because of the dependency of the so called white color babus. Too much dependency on the IRS/IAS is also danger to the administration. Practical approach and the advise of the Professionals in the ground level is very important.
