Subject: – Export of 2,000 MT of White Onion under HS Code 0703 10 19.

S.O. (E) The Central Government, in exercise of powers conferred by Section 3 read with Section 5 of the Foreign Trade (Development & Regulation) Act, 1992 (No. 22 of 1992), as amended, read with Para 1.02 and 2.01 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2023, hereby incorporates the following Policy conditions for export of White Onion against ITC (HS) code 0703 10 19 of Chapter 07 of Schedule 2 of the ITC (HS) Export Policy, as under:

0703 10 19 Onions Prohibited Export of white onion up to an aggregate quantity not exceeding 2000 MT is allowed through the following ports taken together, from the date on which this notification enters into force, namely:

1. Mundra Port,

2. Pipavav Port and

3. Nhava Sheva/JNPT Port.

Further, the above export is allowed subject to the issuance of a certificate from the Horticulture Commissioner, Government of Gujarat certifying the item and quantity of white onion to be exported.

2. Effect of this Notification:

Export of upto an aggregate quantity not exceeding 2000 MT of white onion has been allowed through the specified ports, taken together, with immediate effect. The exporter shall have to get the certificate from the Horticulture Commissioner, Government of Gujarat certifying the item and quantity of white onion to be exported.
