Subject: “Vivad se Vishwas Scheme- Budget 2020”-reg.

Dear Principal Chief Commissioner

As you are aware the Hon’ble Finance Minister in her Budget Speech on 1st February 2020 announced a new Scheme namely Vivad se Vishwas’ wherein a taxpayer in whose case appeals are pending at any level may benefit from this scheme.

2. In order to implement the above Scheme, CBDT needs database on such litigations pending at High Court level. It is therefore, requested that the data on pending appeals at High Court level as on 31st January 2020 be obtained with the help of High Court Registry and the same may be supplemented with the records of the field office. This data should be provided in the following format. The requisite information may kindly be sent in soft copy as excel file at email id: [email protected] latest by 14.02.2020.
