Due date of TDS/TCS related compliances were extended by CBDT on 24.06.2020 vide CBDT’s notification No. 35/2020, dated 24-06-2020. Here we have compiled due date of filing TDS/TCS statement (Form 24Q, 26Q, 26QB, 26QC, 26QD 27Q and 27EQ) of FY 2019-20 and due date for issue of TDS/TCS certificate (Form 16 and Form 16A).

    HI,

    For lower TDS/TCS, CBDT has extended due date of last year lower certificates till 30/06/2020.

    But when I was filling returns fy 2020-21 demand will be raised by traces for reason lower ded. rate. how the same is to be shown in TDS/TDS return of Q1, as last year lower certificate is not valid for this period?????

    HI,

    Incorrect Information for Extension of due date of TDS/ TCS Return for FY 2020-21. No such clause in the Notification No. 35/2020, dated 24-06-2020. Please check twice before posting anything as it may lead to confusion among the public at a large.

        The extension for compliance is only for scrutiny assessments. If TDS return date is extended then the same would have been specifically mentioned as in the case of Income Tax return.

    Our office is in sealdown area of city Market in bangalore since 24.06.2020 and God only knows when it will be opened. So I request to extend the due dates till 30th September 2020 for filing income tax returns for A.Y 2019- 2020

    Please extend F Y 19-20 due dates as in mumbai we r facing odd and even rules and local trains are also not running

    The reasons for which dates were extended till 31 July have not faded in fact it has aggravated. So the extended due date has no meaning, still the compliance is very difficult. There for the dates should further be extended. The fees interest etc should be completely waived evdn compliance not in time.

    Please, extend the due dates of Financial year 2019-2020 TCS and TDS returns upto 30th August 2020 and also extend the time for IT returns of 2018-2019.

      Governement has to remove late filing fees considering the problems facing by the citizens of India and motivate the citizens for compliance as early as possible.
