Subject: – Amendment in Export Policy of Alcohol based Hand Sanitizers.
S.O. 1698(E).- In exercise of powers conferred by Section 3 of the Foreign Trade (Development & Regulation) Act, 1992 (No. 22 of 1992), as amended, read with Para 1.02 and 2.01 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2015-20. the Central Government hereby makes the following amendments to the Notification No. 04 dated 06.05.2020 related to the export policy of Alcohol based Hand Sanitizers, with immediate effect:

2. Effect of this Notification:
The Notification No. 04 dated 06.05.2020 is amended to the extent that only “Alcohol based Hand Sanitisers” exported in containers with the Dispenser Pump, falling under any ITCHS Code including the HS Codes mentioned above, are prohibited for export. Alcohol based Hand Sanitisers exported in any other form/packaging are “free” for exports, with immediate effect.
All other items falling under the above HS Codes are freely exportable.
