Dear Esteemed Professional Colleague,

Namaste

Various provisions of the Companies (Corporate Social Responsibility Policy) Rules 2014 require the monitoring and reporting mechanism for CSR activities. Hence, monitoring of CSR activities and its reporting is mandatory as per the Companies (Company Social Responsibility Policy) Rules 2014. Also, it is the responsibility of the Company (through CSR Committee) to monitor the funds of the Company which are to be utilized as per the CSR Policy of the Company.

Handbook on Audit of CSR Activities, has been published by the ICAI in an effort to guide the members in meeting the expectations of the professionals and the stakeholders in this respect.

We take great pleasure to inform that the Handbook on Audit of CSR Activities, has been released by the Governor of Kerala, Honourable  Arif Mohammad Khan, on 11th January, 2021. A copy of the same can be downloaded from https://resource.cdn.icai.org/62737handbook-on-audit-of-csr-activities.pdf for your reference.

Hope you will find the Handbook useful. Your feedback on the same will help us to improve further in serving our valued members.

With best regards,

Chairman & Vice Chairman,

CSR Committee
