We have to make plans, bifurcated into short term and long term, yearly plan, monthly plan, weakly plan, plan for vacation, plan prior to exams, which subjects to devote how much time, revising the plans in the light of the academic performance etc. If we don’t plan adequately in advance, there is a possibility that our efforts are not channelized in proper direction and the results are not up to the mark.
2. Always take inspiration from successful personalities who have made remarkable contribution to their field and the society. Due to this we feel motivated and get good habits, moral values and start working towards our goals. Keep company of good people, friends and mentors from whom you take valuable guidance about career and solve doubts of the course which you are pursuing.
3. Take care of your physical health and mental health, as it can hamper your performance in the Exams as well as study time. Make a fixed routine of waking up, morning walk, exercises, yoga, take adequate sleep that will keep you fresh throughout the day and you will be able to complete the everyday study plans you had made in advance.
4. Mobile and social websites are the greatest distractions nowadays. Besides affecting the eyes, they waste your valuable time which otherwise you would have utilized for effective study and gain marks. As laptop and mobile causes eye strain, try to reduce long hours (excess screen time) to the extent possible. If possible take print out of the study notes and read from the hardcopy instead of the mobile or laptop as it is not good for eye health, or reduce the brightness level of laptop or mobile so that you can study for long hours with good eye health. During exam days stay away for the social websites etc. so that you can fully focus on studies for optimum performance.

Learn from seniors, teachers which will show you the right path in your academics by their valuable suggestions, also showing the dos and don’ts, your mistakes, pitfalls etc. which will be very helpful to you.
7. In the event of failure, accept the fact that it is a time of introspection, where your preparation is lacking, which topics or chapters you need to give more attention, what are your key strengths, key subjects, key topics, which you can leverage to score better marks. You should have faith in your preparation, and the confidence to face the exams which will finally help you to come with flying colors. All the Best.
