1. Click on ‘ Register Yourself’ on the homepage or on the below link :-

https://incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in/e-Filing/Registration/RegistrationHome.html

2. Select the user type as ‘Chartered Accoutant’

4. 3. Provide Membership details with ICAI, PAN details and Digital Signature Certificate (DSC).

5. Click ‘Continue’.

6. Provide Password details and Contact details..

7. Click ‘Submit’.

8. On successful registration, an e-mail is sent to the registered e-mail ID alongwith the activation link and the User ID. Click on the Activation link to activate the e-Filing account.

9. LOGIN with the User ID, Password and Date of Birth.

    what to do when shows error like “your membership number does not exist” even if i have all member card, firm card, details as per pan and details as per SSP portal are exactly matched, please guide me, it’s urgent

    What if a CA already has a login id since he/she was filing the Income Tax return of his/her own – But it probably does not have details like membership no., etc – Can it be modified or a separate login id created for audit reports, etc.?

    I have recently enrolled as member of ICAI and I have COP as well. Further, when I am trying to register on Income tax e-filing site under user type as Chartered Accountant, it says that the membership number doesn’t exist. I have already updated by PAN on ICAI self-service portal. On calling Income Tax personnel they told me to contact ICAI. Further, ICAI personnel is not reachable. Please help!!
