Madrid Protocol means the Protocol relating to the Madrid Agreement Concerning the International Registration of Marks adopted at Madrid on the 27th day of June, 1989, as amended from time to time. The Madrid Protocol gives trade mark owners the possibility of having their trademarks protected in several countries by simply filing one application directly with their own national or regional trade mark office.
Government reduces normal administrative expenses payable by the employer with effect from 1st June, 2018 at 0.50 per cent of the pay subject to a minimum sum of seventy-five rupees per month for every non-functional establishment having no contributory member and five hundred rupees per month per establishment for other establishments. Earlier the charge was revised to 0.65 per cent from 01.04.2017 and will remain applicable till 31st May 2018.

Recently, The Governor of Uttar Pradesh promulgated `Uttar Pradesh Self-Financed schools (fee fixation) Ordinance 2018. The government had to bring the ordinance as the state Legislature was not in session. The definition of Contract is given under S.2 (h) of the Indian Contract Act, 1872 which provides ‘a contract is an agreement enforceable by law’.
