Trade Notice No. 35/2020-21 Migration of AA/EPCG/DFIA Online modules to the new IT environment from 1st December 2020 and non-availability of licence amendment services from 20th November 2020 to 30th November 2020 -reg
The Foreign Trade Policy (2015-2020), was extended for a year till 31 March 2021. In order to prepare a new five year Foreign Trade Policy, suggestions/inputs are invited from various stakeholders.
i. The new platform is accessible through user-based IDs for applying online. All IEC holders are encouraged to create login IDs through an online registration process preferably well before the roll out of next phase of the platform in the 2-3 weeks. ii. For user ID creation, mobile number/email ids will be a mandatorily required. The same will be authenticated by the process of OTP/email based authentication process.
Members of trade are already aware that a new Scheme, Remission of Duties and Taxes on Exported Products (RoDTEP) has been approved for introduction by the Government.
2. The procedure to apply for the export license under this Quota is outlined below: I. Export of Nitrile/NBR Gloves as per the export quota fixed above will be allowed for the period of October and November, 2020.
This is for information of all taxpayers that the following proposals have been approved by the GST council, in its 42nd meeting, held on 5th October, 2020. The proposed timelines for implementation of the said decisions are given in the table below:-
Electronic filing and Issuance of Preferential Certificate of Origin (CoO) for India’s Exports under GSP, GSTP, India-Malaysia CECA, India-Singapore CECA w.e.f. 15th October 2020
I. Export of Diagnostic kits as per the export quota fixed above will be allowed for the period from September, 2020 to November, 2020. II. Exporters (Only Manufacturers) may apply online through DGFT’s ECOM system for Export authorizations (Non-SCOMET Restricted items) – Please refer Trade Notice No. 50 dated 18.03.2019. There is no need to send any hard copy of the application via mail or post.
Exporters are requested to submit copies of ICLCs opened before 14.09.2020 (ICLC dated 13.09.2020 or before that) for export of Onions to their Jurisdictional DGFT Regional Authority (RA) by 7th October, 2020.
No new authorizations mentioning Non-standard units such as BoU, packs, Boxes cartons and bottles etc would be issued by RAs. For this necessary changes are being carried out in the DGFT EDI system also.
