Application procedure & criteria for export of Diagnostic kits

I. Export of Diagnostic kits as per the export quota fixed above will be allowed for the period from September, 2020 to November, 2020. II. Exporters (Only Manufacturers) may apply online through DGFT’s ECOM system for Export authorizations (Non-SCOMET Restricted items) – Please refer Trade Notice No. 50 dated 18.03.2019. There is no need to send any hard copy of the application via mail or post.

Submission of ICLCs for export of Onions

Exporters are requested to submit copies of ICLCs opened before 14.09.2020 (ICLC dated 13.09.2020 or before that) for export of Onions to their Jurisdictional DGFT Regional Authority (RA) by 7th October, 2020.

Streamlining of Unit Quantity Codes in DGFT’s EDI system & Customs’

Validity period of SCOMET export authorizations for transfer of technology/software

Henceforth, validity period of SCOMET export authorizations for transfer of technology/software under any category of SCOMET shall be twenty four months only or validity period of export authorization allowed in terms of Para 2.16 of HBP of FTP 2015-20. No subsequent revalidation in such authorizations shall be permissible.

Procedure for applications for export of N-95/FFP2 Masks

The application procedure and criteria for export of N-95/FFP2 masks (including for samples) is outlined below: I. Export of only 1 crore total units of ‘N-95/FFP2 Masks’ will be allowed for the month of August and September.

Extension of date for filing online applications for export quota of August 2020 for PPE medical coverall for Covid-19

Due to technical/server issues, the ECOM facility for online application on the DGFT website was not available from 7.00 PM on 02.08.2020 to 4.00 PM on 08.2020. In view of the unavailability of application filling facility during the timeline specified in the Trade Notice 18 dated 20.07.2020, the time for filing online applications for PPE medical coveralls for COVID-19 quota for the month of August, 2020 has been extended till 08.08.2020.

Issuance of CoO for India’s exports under ASEAN-India FTA- Reg.

It is informed that w.e.f. 01.08.2020, the CoO applications for exports from India to Thailand under ASEAN-India FTA should be submitted through the e-COO Platform by the exporters to the designated issuing agencies i.e. EIA, MPEDA and Textile Committee.

The application procedure and criteria for export of 2/3 Ply Surgical Masks is outlined below: I. Export of only 4 Crore units of ‘2/3 Ply Surgical Masks ‘ will he allowed for the month of August. II. Exporters (Both Manufacturers and Merchant exporters) may apply online through DGFT’s ECOM system for Export authorizations (Non-SCOMET Restricted items) – Please refer Trade Notice No. 50 dated 18.03.2019. There is no need to send any hard copy of the application via mail or post.
