It is also informed that while applicants can choose to avail CoO (NP)online or in manual mode till 31.3.2021 w.e.f 1.4.2021 applications will be accepted in online mode only. Further details in the matter will be notified subsequently.
As a part of IT Revamp, this Directorate proposes to introduce new modules (online e-Certificate Management System) for processing of certain applications. From 22.02.2021 onwards, the following applications types are required to be submitted online through the importer/exporter’s dashboard on the DGFT Website –
Licenses for all TRQs would be issued electronically and TRQ License data would be transmitted electronically to the Customs Authorities. No paper copies of the TRQ Import license will be issued by DGFT with effect from 08.02.2021.

As a part of IT Revamp of the organisation, this Directorate has decided to introduce a new module (online e-PRC System) for seeking policy/procedure relaxation in terms of Para 2.58 of FTP. Therefore, from 25.01.2021 onwards, all applications seeking policy/procedure relaxation are mandatorily required to be submitted online through the exporter’s dashboard on the DGFT Website. Manual submission of application seeking policy/procedure relaxation would no longer be allowed from 25.01.2021 onwards.
Henceforth, whenever CBIC issues any circular, MGSTD, on its examination, would issue a separate circular regarding its applicability for the implementation of the MGST Act.

Ministry of External Affairs has informed that email spoofing/phishing cyber frauds are causing increased bilateral trade disputes. Though this is registered as a cybercrime in the respective jurisdictions of the country, the authorities cannot do much to reverse the transaction.
