NOTIFICATION No. 35 (RE-2006)/2004-2009

NEW DELHI, DATED: 5th October, 2006

S.O. (E) In exercise of powers conferred by Section 5 of the Foreign Trade (Development & Regulation) Act,1992 read with paragraph 2.1 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2004-2009, the Central Government hereby amends/ corrects the first sentence of para 3.8.3 of Foreign Trade Policy (2004-2009) as under:

“ The Duty Credit may be used for import of inputs or goods including Capital Goods, which are otherwise freely importable under ITC(HS) classifications of Export and Import Items.”

This issues in Public interest.
