What is the maximum amount that a single market participant can bid in LTROs? A market participant can place bids of amount less than or equal to the notified amount. RBI may reject all the bids of the participant if the total bid amount submitted by the participant exceeds the notified amount.

It has been decided to extend the one-time restructuring of MSME advances permitted in terms of the aforesaid circular. Accordingly, a one-time restructuring of existing loans to MSMEs classified as ‘standard’ without a downgrade in the asset classification is permitted, subject to the following conditions:

In today’s policy announcement, while the RBI kept the policy rate unchanged – given the high inflation prints – it announced a number of measures to support growth. The announcement of the LTROs to provide durable liquidity and the CRR relief for on-lending to the auto, the housing and the MSME sector is likely to push credit growth. In an effort to improve transmission, the RBI also announced external benchmarking for medium enterprises.
