Tata Consumer Products Limited has announced a robust financial performance for the quarter ending 30th September 2026, reporting a 14% year-on-year increase in revenue from operations, amounting to ₹5,661 crore. The company attributed this growth primarily to the strong performance of its India Branded Business, which recorded an 11% underlying volume growth, and its ‘Growth businesses’ segment, which expanded by 40% and now comprises 38% of the India business.

The company’s consolidated EBITDA for the quarter rose by 18% to ₹794 crore, while the group net profit increased by 16% to ₹470 crore. The India branded business was buoyed by a 15% revenue growth in salt, despite flat tea volumes due to subdued category demand. Tata Sampann, a key brand under the company’s portfolio, demonstrated significant momentum with a 57% revenue growth, driven by strong volume increases in pulses, spices, cold-pressed oils, and dry fruits. The Ready-to-Drink (RTD) segment also saw a substantial 47% revenue growth, supported by distribution expansion and an innovative product pipeline.

Internationally, Tata Consumer Products experienced a 7% revenue growth, although this translated to a 2% decline in constant currency terms. The UK market faced challenges due to a prolonged heatwave impacting category consumption, but Tetley managed to outperform its peers. In Canada, the company achieved growth surpassing the category in both regular and specialty segments. Additionally, Tata Starbucks reported a 15% revenue increase, marking a multi-quarter high in same-store sales growth, with the addition of seven new stores, including two Reserve stores, enhancing its premium offerings.

Sunil D’Souza, Managing Director & CEO, highlighted the company’s focus on portfolio transformation and disciplined execution, which have been pivotal in driving the double-digit revenue growth. He emphasised the role of innovation, with 22 new product launches in the quarter, and the ongoing digital transformation initiatives aimed at enhancing productivity through AI-led solutions.

Analysts view Tata Consumer Products’ performance as a testament to its strategic focus on expanding its growth businesses and leveraging innovation to cater to evolving consumer trends. The company’s ability to sustain growth amidst global economic uncertainties will be closely monitored by market observers.
