Summary: The Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue, has issued Notification No. 25/2026-Customs (ADD), dated 24 October 2026, rescinding Notification No. 12/2025-Customs (ADD), dated 10 May 2025. The Central Government has exercised the powers conferred by sub-sections (1) and (5) of section 9A of the Customs Tariff Act, 1975. The rescinded notification was published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (i), through G.S.R. 305(E), dated 10 May 2025. The rescission expressly preserves things done or omitted to be done before such rescission.

G.S.R. 915(E).— In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-sections (1) and (5) of section 9A of the Customs Tariff Act, 1975 (51 of 1975), the Central Government hereby rescinds the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 12/2025-Customs (ADD), dated the 10th May, 2025, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (i), vide number G.S.R. 305(E), dated 10th May, 2025, except as respects things done or omitted to be done before such rescission.
