The Supreme Industries Limited, a prominent player in India’s plastics manufacturing sector, has announced a significant financial upturn for the second quarter and half year ending 30th September 2026. The company reported a 39.28% increase in standalone total income, reaching Rs. 3,416.26 crore, compared to Rs. 2,452.82 crore in the same period last year. The consolidated results mirrored this growth trajectory, with total income rising by 39.87% to Rs. 3,369.96 crore.

The company’s operating profit also saw a substantial rise, with standalone figures increasing by 44.95% to Rs. 431.11 crore, and consolidated operating profit surging by 47.50% to Rs. 460.61 crore. This robust performance translated into a 46.53% increase in standalone profit before tax (PBT), amounting to Rs. 360.72 crore. The consolidated PBT experienced an even more impressive growth of 58.03%, reaching Rs. 343.91 crore. The company’s earnings per share also saw a notable increase, with standalone EPS rising to Rs. 21.98 from Rs. 15.22 in the previous year.

Supreme Industries declared an interim dividend of Rs. 12 per share, reflecting a 600% payout for the financial year 2026-27. The company reported a net cash surplus of Rs. 685 crore as of 30th September 2026, up from Rs. 648 crore at the end of March 2026. The turnover of value-added products rose to Rs. 1,476 crore during the quarter, marking a 38% increase from the previous year.

Chairman and Managing Director, Mr. M. P. Taparia, highlighted the stabilisation of the operating environment following volatility in polymer prices earlier in the year. He noted that government measures have helped mitigate price fluctuations, supporting the market. Supreme Industries continues to benefit from India’s robust economic growth, driven by infrastructure investments and urban development, which provide long-term demand visibility across its business segments.

Analysts view Supreme Industries’ strong performance as a positive indicator of its resilience and strategic positioning in the market. The company’s focus on expanding its product portfolio and enhancing manufacturing capabilities is expected to sustain its growth momentum, despite geopolitical uncertainties impacting raw material prices.
