Recommendations regarding Return Filing System,Reverse Charge Mechanism,TDS/TCS & Grievance Redressal Mechanism in 26th Meeting of the GST Council
26th GST Council has recommended the introduction of e-way bill for inter-State movement of goods across the country from 01st April 2018. For intra-State movement of goods, e-way bill system will be introduced w.e.f. a date to be announced in a phased manner but not later than 01st June, 2018.
The Goods and Services Tax (‘GST’) Council in its 26th meeting held today, deliberated on various issues which amidst other things included rolling out of E way bill mechanism, suspension of reverse charge mechanism and granting relief to exporters.
In my last budget speech, I had mentioned about the Jal and Bhoomipoojan for Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Memorial in Arabian Sea near Mumbai at the hands of Honble Prime Minister of India.
