No. 4/2001-Central Excise, dated the 1st March, 2001, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (i), vide number G.S.R. 129 (E), dated the 1st March, 2001.
However, the licences issued under the scheme upto 31.03.2000 shall be governed by provisions laid down in paragraph 6.11 as given in Handbook (Vol 1) (RE-99). Notwithstanding the provisions in Handbook (Vol 1) (RE-99), the licence holder will not have to surrender SIL in cases of valuewise shortfall .
Attention is invited to Paragraph 4.11 of the Export and Import Policy 1997-2002, as amended and Paragraphs 7.8 and 7.10 of the Handbook of Procedures, Vol.1, 1997-2002, as amended and also to the Handbook of Procedures, Vol.2, 1997-2002, as amended from time to time.
