New Delhi, the 25th March, 2017
S.O.960 (E).— In exercise of the powers conferred by section 4 of Securities and Exchange Board of India Act, 1992 (15 of 1992) read with rule 3 of Securities and Exchange Board of India (Terms and Conditions of Service of Chairman and Members) Rules, 1992, the Central Government hereby appoints Smt. Madhabi Puri Buch to the post of Whole Time Member, Securities and Exchange Board of India, initially for a period of 3 years from the date she assumes charge of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier, with pay as admissible to Additional Secretary to Government of India or a consolidated salary of Rs. 3,75,000/- per month.
