Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Department of Commerce, Directorate General of Foreign Trade, has issued Notification No. 21/2023 DGFT Dated : 28 July, 2023 amending the export policy of De-Oiled Rice Bran. In this notification, the export policy for De-Oiled Rice Bran, categorized under ITC HS code 2306, has been changed from ‘Free’ to ‘Prohibited.’ This amendment will be effective immediately and will remain in force until 30th November 2023.

Subject: Amendment in Export policy of De-Oiled Rice Bran.
S.O. 3405(E). — In exercise of powers conferred by Section 3 read with section 5 of the Foreign Trade (Development & Regulation) Act, 1992 (No. 22 of 1992), as amended, read with Para 1.02 and 2.01 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2015-20, the Central Government hereby makes following amendment in Chapter 23 of the Schedule -2 of ITC HS export policy related to export policy of De-Oiled Rice Bran:

2. Effect of the Notification:
