Sub: Request for Extending the Due Dates stipulated for filing Annual GST Returns i.e. GSTR9/9A/9C for the year 2017-18 under the GST Law

Respected Madam,

We would like to bring to your kind information that the dates so announced for filing ITR (31st August 2019) got clashed with the dates of filing Annual GST Returns i.e. GSTR 9 and GSTR 9A, which are also due on 31st August, followed by GSTR9C. Already traders are under heavy pressure of filing regular monthly returns like GSTR1, GSTR3B, etc., apart from this Annual returns

Most of the small and tiny business units are finding it very difficult to comply with the return filing process, as the electronic uploading was made available only in May 2019 and changes are still being made in the software which makes hard the process. Most of the assesse are not able to fetch JSON files, and ends up with error messages which becomes hurdle

With these practical problems, we, the professionals also facing lot of strain because of time constraint and suffering with work pressure. Both the professionals and the business community are under acute mental pressure

We wish to prove honest and errorless filing of returns and hence we humbly request your highness Madam, to kindly extend the due dates for filing GSTR9/9A/9C for further three more months (i.e., 30th Nov 2019)

This will be a great favour to all our professional community and also the genuine businessman and traders.

Thanking you in advance
