MODI JI – ENOUGH IS ENOUGH

GST – BIGGEST TORTURE FOR HONEST TAXPAYER

Respected Mr. Prime Minister,

Government of India.

Generally, I do not start my letter with negative frame of mind. But, after requesting you by writing letter through different forum, today I cannot control myself. All my anger is accumulated in this email.

Till today, I use to mention you as MODI JI (a person, I could connect). But experiencing  dictatorship for last 1 year (on GST Issue), I am force to disconnect myself and mention you as Mr. Prime Minister (Dictator). In your speeches, you have termed yourself as “PRADHAN SEVAK”. But you are acting as Dictator, not SEVAK.

Please find your valuable time to read my following points and answer my questions.

1) When you were not ready with Infrastructure of GST, why did  GST been implemented from July 1st. I have requested via many social forums, talked to many Government GST officers about half baked GST. Nobody, including you listened to us. Can’t government first prepare complete law and then implement?

2) GST is not a small change in economy like DEMONETIZATION. PEOPLE OF INDIA DO NOT ALLOW YOU TO TAKE IMMATURE STEP. YOU HAVE NO RIGHT TO TAKE ACTIONS WITHOUT THINKING OF IMPACT ON CITIZEN .

3) GST has killed professional life, social life, business life of All Registered person, Tax consultant, Chartered Accountant, Professionals.

4) Can you imagine a situation, sitting in front of Dumb GST PORTAL, waiting for response, praying for next step, hoping for no mistakes? All Registered person, Tax consultant, Chartered Accountant, Professionals are doing this for last 20 days.

5) GST Server -Getting Hang multiple time in a day, generating wrong report, not allowing filling GST Returns, are just some highlights for the day.

6) Security problem : Who has given you or your government right to play with our security data. GSTIN server is showing other dealer report in our login pages. How is it possible?

7) Continuing my point no.6. When you did not test your system properly, extensively, completely, why did you open GST server to common people? Who is responsible for this?

8) Government advertise that we have full proof back up / support team for GST. In all government communication via page long advertisement, it is written that” Data is for indicative purpose, should not be used for final verdict of LAW”. Which data is authentic?

9) For same question / query, GST helpdesk or Government Twitter Handle is giving different answers. Everyone is getting confused with these data. Is government making mockery of TAX COLLECTOR (Registered Dealer – RD).

10) To prove yourself correct, you are launching many online / offline utilities. All utilities are full of Bugs. Again RD suffers.

11) E-way Bill —– RD are waiting for your E-way Bill. This will add to your half backed law, which will make our life even more miserable.

12) TESTING OF ANY SOFTWARE WITH GOOD INTERNET SPEED IS EASY. Just send your officials to small towns and ask them to fill GST return. Then you will know the reality.

As a citizen of India, I need answer to all question mentioned above. When I send you letters via different forum, I doubt, you read any letter. I hope and pray god, this letter reach you and finally you read this letter, as a citizen of INDIA.

We need a PRADHAN SEVAK “Narendra Modi”, not a DICTATOR “Narendra Modi”.

The Indian society consists mostly by the people who do not comply with laws, not interested to pay taxes.
The issues of black money, vijay mallaya, lalth modi case, and other scams had their roots from the congress corrupt rule of 60 years.
The top people will frame policies and the next level is for implementation. Indian bureaucrats are to be blamed.
Even if the implementation rolled out, still the issues will be there and the common people will have hardships.
Nowadays every one has the mobile and how to better use for their self pleasures.
So, the learned people have to approach positively for the success.

Leave about Modi we are in a Sick Country which doesn’t have strong opposition party. Where are you congress leaders why can’t you listenup and fight for us..

  5. Prakash Jamanale says:

I am sorry. There is no grace in putting forth your comments to the Honorable Prime Minister. Have you forgotten what the UPA did in the last decade?

When any big change is brought out, the implementation could be tardy, difficult. But we have to cope with the difficulties and fine tune the system, After all, there is nothing like a fool-proof software system.
We have to endeavor to co-operate with our Government in the huge task of reforming the various aspects of governance. Let us not play truant and look foolish. Let us take our own responsibility. Act responsible and responsive and mature.

  9. DCSINGHVI says:

The good law administered by inexperienced persons and minister in hurry as if they would have lost the kingdom. I agree that the Goverenment may not fail because of poor implementation. Do they feel that the business community and the Chartered Accountants will taste the poor show. No, not at all. The poor minister who is advocate by profession and not experienced so far as the matter of taxation is concerned is to be blamed for failure of the Government. The PM should not speak High Words.

  10. S.VENKATAPATHY says:

Every one of the business and professional people are feeling the same. It seems that Government have constructed a palace without a strong foundation.

  11. Suresh Chandani says:

I was on a holiday and taken a print of all GST laws with me for study as the holiday was a long one. A close reading of the acts, I found the laws as enacted were far to complex in their construction and implementation. I concluded that it was essential to implement the law April 2018 instead of the then proposed date of July 1, 2017. During this period the taxpayers would have been in a position to study the law and procedure carefully under advice from various professionals and for the government and the tax department to answer queries that were bound to arise given the serious complexities involved.
Within four days of my return the government notified the date on which GST was to take effect. I immediately placed a post on the official twitter account of GST that in implementing the law with such speed was an act of “indecent haste” and should be withheld briefly giving reasons. The concept is excellent and so is the intent. But the indecent haste with which the law has been brought into force will seriously jeopardize the growth of businesses, industries, services etc. Being an expert in this field I know that the government has blundered willfully and will result in unlimited litigation between the authorities and the tax payers. Total unnecessary article.

Governement/ gst department is doing enough.. various advertisements/ webinar etc
Whenever anything new is implemented , it is implemented through continous process.. taking feedback and making corrections..
No product can be fault free in single go
