  1. Respected Sir/Madam,

I just want to know that, how much amount returns after 21 years of girl child’s age for who Depositting Rs. 1000/- Per month for 14 years and for who Depositting Rs. 250/- Per Year for 14 years?

  2. My wife has open the Sukanya Samridhi yojna account of our girl child and during the account opening my wife has given his PAN number.

Now I have to claim the tax benefit of SSY in my return please advise can i claim the benefit because my wife is house wife and i am paying the money by cash for this account .

  3. The Scheme should have been extended further and liberal. I am donating some amount to NGO for education of girl child every year. Instead I can deposit 1000/- every month for a particular girl child of my wish till such time I wish and that can be helpful for the poor girl child and I will also have the satisfaction of my entire amount going directly to the benefit of poor girl child. Money can be made use by that girl child/parents including interest when girl child attains 18+ years. Marriages of girl child takes place after 18 and many will not wait till 21 years.

  4. PL SHOW ALL MONEY CALCULATION THROUH A CHART YEAR-VISE.BECAUSE THERE IS SO MANY CONFUSSION.
HOPE THAT DEPARTMENT CLEAR THAT IN PUBLIC INTEREST.

  5. DEAR FRIENDS
CLEARLY READ THE COMPLETE EXPLANATION BY THE POSTAL DEPARTMENT ABOUT THE SCHEME.ALL YOUR CONFUSIONS WILL BE ERADICATED

  6. Very confusing scheme.
Cud nt understand whether the maturity is after 14 years or 21 years?
Whether the interest will be paid after 14 years or not?
Whether subscription will be taken after 14 years or not?
whether only one withdrawal is allowed for education at age 18 or more age, or the limited amount of withdrawal is allowed in multiple transactions.
What is the meaning of monthly interest paent?
Can account continue beyound 21 years of age?
What if the marriage does not take place.
What is meaning and scope of operation by girl at age 10 onwards.
Whether interest will accrue till the entire amount is withdrawn for unlimited period or it will cease at some time.
    And many more…

Pl help with reply. May call or sms or whatsapp at 9431101260.

  7. PPF A/C IS BEST OPTION …WHEN NO ADDL.BENEFIT IS GIVEN U/S 80-C OF THE I.T.ACT TO THE DEPOSITOR OF THIS A/C

  8. Do you have a table which shows (details) the starting of account in different age, amount per year and the maturity

  9. IN CASE WE OPEN AN ACCOUNT (CHILD’S AGE IS 6 YEARS) NOW AND DEPOSIT RS.150000 PER YEAR, WHAT WOULD BE MATURITY AMOUNT THE CHILD GET AT THE MATURITY TIME (AFTER 21 YEARS)

  10. We have so many options for 80c. What is benefit of shifting from PPf to this account if no additional exeption is allowed. I feel FD will be better (no restrictions) if interest is taxable or there is no exemption from clubbing provisions. I think saving PO interest is taxable with saving interest exemption of 10000/-. This will be exausted in first year itself if Rs 1500000/- is deposited at expected rate of interest of 8% to 9%

  11. dear sir and readers,

please provide benefits of opting monthly interest option in it and tax benefits (if any) or other implications.

is the interest earned on it is tax free?

is amount invested is tax free?

    etc

  12. It is not clear, whether Income Tax benefit U/s 80 C will be available to the subscriber or not . As post office Saving Bank General Rules 1981 are applicable, can we presume that Tax saving benefits will be available??
