Sub: De-notifying West Quay 6 Berth, Besides Nalco Tanks, Visakhapatnam Port Trust, Visakhapatnam – reg.

S.O. 1461(E).—Whereas West Quay 6 Berth, Visakhapatnam Port Trust, Visakhapatnam was approved in exercise of the powers conferred under Sub-Section (a) of Section 8 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962) as a proper place for loading and unloading of goods and as ―Customs Area‖ vide this office Notification No.02/2015 – (CUSTOMS) (NT) (VSP) dated 13.07.2015 and M/s. West Quay Multiport Private Limited was appointed as Custodian Under Section 45(1) of the Customs Act, 1962 for the said place vide Order of even number dated 13.07.2015 by the Principal Commissioner of Customs, Custom House, Visakhapatnam.

Now, in exercise of powers conferred under Sub-Section (a) of Section 8 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), I, Dr. D.K. Srinivas, Principal Commissioner of Customs, Visakhapatnam, upon issue of Order-in-Original No. VIZ-CUSTM-000-COM-07/19-20 dated 23.03.2020 towards revocation of license issued to M/s. West Quay Multiport Private Limited for violations made by them under the Handling of Cargo in Customs areas Regulations, 2009, hereby de-notify the Customs Area of West Quay 6 Berth at Visakhapatnam Port Trust, Visakhapatnam with immediate effect.
