Circular No. A/1104/2019, Dt 20.01.2020.
The Parliament has enacted ‘The Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act 2016‘, to establish the Real Estate Regulatory Authority for regulation and promotion of the real estate sector and to ensure sale of plot, apartment or building, as the case may be or sale of real estate project, in an efficient and transparent manner and to protect the interests of consumers in the real estate sector.
Subsequently the Government of Andhra Pradesh has set up AP Real Estate Regulatory Authority to implement RERA Act, 2016 in the State of Andhra Pradesh.
In order to protect the interests of the Consumers and lo ensure the quality of construction in all the projects registered with AP RERA during their meeting on January 20, 2020 In Vijaywada, AP, the Authority has issued the following directions pet Section 37 of the Act.
1. Promoters shall ensure that at least 50% of the workers, engaged by them, shall have a valid Skill Certificate in their respective trades, or Certificates is-300d by any of the rrw CIDO, CPWD Acadertly, Or any other Goveratient I Government Recognized Institution.
