Form ADT- 1 is filed by every company to intimate the Registrar Of Companies about the appointment of an auditor after the conclusion of its Annual General Meeting (AGM) under fourth proviso to sub-section (1) of section 139 of The Companies Act, 2013.
Form ADT-1 must be filed with the Registrar Of Companies within fifteen days of the meeting in which the auditor is appointed. Example, if the company’s AGM was held on 30 September 201X, then Form ADT 1 has to be filed by 14th October 201X.
