The names of the member s who will not remit their annual member s hip fee for the year 2011-12 by the la s t extended date i.e. 31st August, 2011 will stand removed from the Register of members w.e.f. 1st September, 2011. They shall be required to pay the entrance fee of Rs. 1500/- and Rs. 1000/- respectively for ACS & FCS for restoration of membership in addition to restoration fee of Rs. 250/- and annual membership fee.

Ind AS 1 generally deals with presentation of financial statements, whereas existing AS 1 (issued1979) deals only with the disclosure of accounting policies. Compulsory audit of accounts section 44AB Limit of 40,00,000 has been increased to 60,00,000 in case of business and from 10,00,000 to 15,00,000 in case of profession. For the purpose of presumptive taxation u/s 44AD, the threshold limit of total turnover or gross receipts would be increased from 40 lakhs to 60 lakhs. The threshold limit is proposed to be increased to facilitate business operations of small taxpayers. Means to reduce the compliance burden of small businesses and professionals.

Singh, Minister of State, Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Government of India. In the aforesaid website, the Firms may create their websites as per the norms laid down by the Council of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. The website provides a platform for the CA Firms to upload their firms’ details and gives them an opportunity to reach out to the members and CA firms practicing worldwide.
