ICAI Committee for Members in Industry organizing Corporate Forum from 29th to 31st January 2010 in Mumbai

Sub: ICAI’s Corporate Forum -29th to 31st January, 2010 – Mumbai-Career Ascent
We are pleased to inform you that the Committee for Members in Industry is organizing ICAIs Corporate Forum during 29th to 31st January 2010 at Goregaon Sports Club, Mumbai which comprises of five hi-profile concurrent events viz.

(i)     Career Ascent Mid Career Campus.

(ii)   Special Campus Placement Programme -for Chartered Accountants who had undergone the three months residential programme organized by the Institute.
(iii) Corporate Conclave three full day National Conclave on contemporary topics .
(iv)  ICAI Awards for Excellence in Financial Reporting- With a view to promote better standards in the preparation and presentation of information in the financial statements.
(v)  ICAI Awards 2009 to acknowledge the exemplary service of Chartered Accountants in industry.

Career Ascent  Mid Career Campus: Being organized during 29th to 31st January 2010 at Goregaon Sports Club , Mumbai, it shall serve as a platform for connecting the Chartered Accountants having one or more years of post qualification industry experience to the Corporates thereby enabling both of them to harness their skill sets to the optimum.

The complete placement process for experienced Members has been made online.

An organization desirous of participating the in the Programme may register at our Placement Portal www.cmii.icai.org , which is a single window recruitment system for organizations interested in recruiting Chartered Accountants from our vast talent pool.A feature in the portal has been structured to enable the recruiting entities to conduct the selection process more efficiently, faster and in less time apart from maintaining high confidentiality of database of the candidates.

GUIDELINES OF CAREER ASCENT FOR THE PARTICIPATING COMPANIES

Timings of the event: 10.00 a.m. to 6.00 p.m.

· The companies participating will have to register online on placement portal www.cmii.icai.org

· The participation fees should be remitted at ICAI head office New Delhi only
· Access to the candidate database shall be allowed only after the receipt of participation fee by CMII Secretariat
· The companies can access the database through the placement portal www.cmii.icai.org from 5th January 2010.
· Participating companies will have to provide the list of shortlisted candidates online on placement portal www.cmii.icai.org by 11th January 2010.
· Final list of candidates appearing for interview will be available online on placement portal www.cmii.icai.org after 20th January 2010.
· Shortlisting of the candidates by the company is restricted to 10 times of the number of vacancies in that particular organization
· Once a company has selected any candidate and the offer is accepted by the candidate it is the responsibility of the company to inform the organizers providing the offer letter duly signed by it and the candidate who had accepted the offer.
· The companies participating have to offer a minimum CTC of Rs.6.00 lakhs to the candidates in Career Ascent.
· The entire process above would be done online on placement portal www.cmii.icai.org.

Firms with more than 10 partners: Rs. 1,00,000/- + Service Tax @ 10.3%

Firms with less than 10 partners: Rs. 50,000/- + Service Tax @ 10.3%

 

Payment Terms: Participation fee shall be payable by way of Cheque/Demand Draft in favour of The Secretary, The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India Payable at New Delhi only.
