Value of the goods declared in the GST invoice and the value in the corresponding shipping bill / bill of export should be examined and the lower of the two values should be sanctioned as refund. ‘Moreover, it has been specifically clarified in the Circular dated 15th March, 2018 that the clarification given in the, circular applies to exports made on or after 1st July 2017.

Govt allocate funds for MEIS for FY 2019-20 & for 9 months of FY 2020-21

It is to inform that the Competent Authority has approved the allocation of an amount of Rs. 39,097 Crore for MEIS benefits for exports made during the FY 2019­-20. Further, allocation totalling Rs. 15,555 Crore for MEIS benefits for exports made during the period 01.04.2020 to 31.12.2020 is conveyed with the approval of the Competent Authority.
