Subject: Auto-Population of IGST paid amount for SEZ DTA Sale BoE in GSTR-2A

SEZ Online System has been sharing the details of supplies made by SEZ Units to DTA Units under Bill of Entry with GSTN through ICEGATE since July 2017. ICEGATE has completed its arrangements with GSTN to auto-populate the same in GSTR of DTA Buyer (Importer) for BoE information shared by SEZ Online System. Data of BoE transactions from April 20, in which IGST is paid and Out of Charge is marked by SEZ Customs will be auto-populated in GSTR 2A of DTA Buyer.

Ministry of Finance has issued attached Press Release which confirms that SEZ – DTA BoE will be reflecting in GSTR. Subsequent to this press release, we have been in touch with officers in GST Policy Wing as well as ICEGATE and recently they have informed that processing of BoE has commenced at their end.

In view of this SEZ Units/Developers/Co-developers are requested to inform their respective DTA buyers to check their returns. We understand that reflection is happening in sequential order starting with April 2020.
