ITAT Chandigarh to remain close till 31.03.2020- Officials will work from home

In exercise of  the  powers  conferred  to  the  Vice Presidents,  ITAT,  by  the Hon’ble President , ITAT in consonance with order  dated 22.03.2020  of the  Hon’ble Supreme Court of India to restrain the spread of Novel Corona Virus  (Covid 19)  and  In view of the Order  File No. F 2071/F-II(6)-2020/5000-5002 dated 22.03.2020 issued by the Health Department , Chandigarh Administration notifying a lock down in the territorial jurisdiction of the entire U.T. of Chandigarh and similar situation of complete lock down in the States of Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan and Punjab, affecting means of all Public Transport, the following directions for all the Benches falling under ITAT, Chandigarh Zone are issued:

1. The office of the Registry shall remain closed from 23.03.2020 to 31.03.2020 and during the said period the officers and the officials of Chandigarh Zone will “work from home” and will remain accessible on all the modes of electronic communication such as, E-mail, Mobile Phones and Whatsapp etc. throughout this period of Lockdown.

2. All the cases scheduled  for  hearing till 31.03.2020 have already been adjourned  and the next date of hearing of these cases will be communicated in due course.

3. The Contact Numbers of the following officers  and officials  of the Chandigarh Zone ( Chandigarh ,Amritsar, Jaipur and Jodhpur Benches) are given below  only  tor urgent matters.

Please cooperate with us by not calling on these Numbers unless wholly unavoidable .E- communication will be highly appreciated.
