Summary: The Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue, has issued Notification S.O. 5757(E), dated 23 October 2026, amending the Rajasthan entries in the notification governing designated courts under the Prevention of Money-laundering Act, 2002. Issued under sub-section (1) of section 43, in consultation with the Chief Justice of the High Court of Rajasthan, the amendment substitutes serial number 22 and its corresponding entries in the table of principal Notification S.O. 372(E), dated 5 February 2016. Under the substituted entries, the Court of Special Judge (CBI) No. 3, Jaipur, is assigned the districts falling within the jurisdiction of the Rajasthan High Court Bench, Jaipur. The Court of Special Judge (CBI), Jodhpur, is assigned the districts falling within the jurisdiction of the Rajasthan High Court, Jodhpur. The intervening entries specify that the Courts of Special Judge (CBI) No. 2, Jaipur; No. 1, Jaipur; and No. 2, Jaipur, respectively, will hear only cases transferred by the Rajasthan High Court. Court No. 2, Jaipur, appears twice in the supplied notification table, and both entries are retained below. The notification thus distinguishes the territorial jurisdiction assigned to the specified Jaipur and Jodhpur courts from the limited role of the other listed Jaipur courts in hearing transferred cases. Its closing note records that the principal notification was last amended through S.O. 5082(E), dated 16 September 2026.
