Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone Limited (APSEZ) has announced a strong financial performance for the second quarter of the fiscal year 2027, ending September 30, 2026. The company reported a 24% year-on-year increase in consolidated revenue, reaching ₹11,340 crore, while earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortisation (EBITDA) rose by 23% to ₹6,807 crore. This growth is attributed to the expansion across its various business segments, including domestic and international ports, logistics, and marine services.

The domestic ports segment, which remains a cornerstone of APSEZ’s earnings, saw a 13% increase in revenue, maintaining a robust EBITDA margin of 72.5%. The international ports division experienced a significant surge, with revenue up by 71% and EBITDA increasing by 236%, reflecting the successful ramp-up of operations in strategic locations such as Colombo and Tanzania. The logistics and marine segments also contributed to the overall growth, with revenues rising by 21% and 57% respectively.

In light of the strong performance in the first half of the fiscal year, APSEZ has revised its full-year guidance upwards. The company has increased its revenue target by ₹1,000 crore to a range of ₹44,000-₹46,000 crore and its EBITDA guidance by the same amount to ₹26,000-₹27,000 crore. Additionally, capital expenditure guidance has been raised by ₹3,000 crore to ₹15,000-₹17,000 crore, as APSEZ accelerates its investment strategy towards achieving its Ambition 2031 objectives.

The company’s strategic investments and expansion plans are underpinned by a solid balance sheet. APSEZ reported an operating cash flow of ₹13,327 crore for the first half of the fiscal year, funding investments worth ₹10,521 crore. Despite significant capital expenditure over the past two years, the company has maintained a net debt-to-EBITDA ratio of 1.8x, demonstrating financial discipline and resilience.

Market analysts view APSEZ’s performance and revised guidance as indicative of its robust business model and strategic positioning in the global logistics and ports sector. The company’s ability to leverage its integrated platform across multiple growth engines positions it well for sustained growth in the coming years.
