Indus Towers Limited, a prominent provider of passive telecom infrastructure in India, has announced its audited consolidated financial results for the second quarter ending 30 September 2026. The company reported a consolidated revenue of ₹8,516 crores, marking a 4.0% increase compared to the same period last year. However, the consolidated profit after tax saw a decline of 2.5% year-on-year, settling at ₹1,793 crores.

The quarter’s performance was bolstered by strong co-location additions and robust cash generation. The company’s total tower base increased by 5.6% year-on-year to 270,480, while the total co-location base rose by 5.9% to 440,153. Despite the revenue growth, the consolidated EBITDA showed a marginal increase of 0.4% year-on-year, reaching ₹4,633 crores, with an EBITDA margin of 54.4%.

Prachur Sah, Managing Director and CEO of Indus Towers, highlighted the company’s focus on customer demand and operational efficiency. He noted that the improvement in the tenancy ratio to 1.63 underscores Indus Towers’ success in capturing a significant share of customer rollouts, reinforcing its position as a preferred infrastructure partner. Sah also emphasized the company’s commitment to a low-cost shared infrastructure model and digital energy management, which are enhancing operational efficiency and customer experience.

Despite the challenges, Indus Towers remains optimistic about its growth prospects. The company is supported by a healthy order book and a compelling infrastructure value proposition, which it believes will drive sustainable growth and long-term shareholder value. Analysts note that while the decline in profit is a concern, the company’s strategic initiatives and market position could support future growth. The telecom infrastructure sector in India continues to evolve, and Indus Towers’ focus on innovation and efficiency may position it well in the competitive landscape.
