Subject: Amendment in appointing a new Statistics Officer under Collection of Statistics Act 2008
G.S.R. In partial modification to the issue of notification No. 2118 dated 30.09.2015 and in exercise of the powers conferred by Section 4 of the of the Collection of Statistics Act, 2008 (7 of 2009), read with rule 7(1) of the Collection of Statistics Rule 2011, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India now appoints Ms. Pally Kundu, Deputy Director General, as Statistics Officer, as per details mentioned in Schedule II of the notification, to exercise all or any of the powers under the said Act.
