The Implementation of the Companies Act, 2013 is done by Professionals like Chartered Accountants, Company Secretaries and Cost Accountants through uploading various forms through website www.mca.gov.in. It is expected that the website works smoothly so that the implementation of the Companies Act, 2013 is done properly thereby boost corporate governance. However various professionals are facing technical issues and glitches while working on www.mca.gov.in which are listed below:-

1. Slow Website Performance:

One of the most common challenges faced by professionals is the sluggish performance of the www.mca.gov.in website. It often takes an extended time to load the home page, testing the patience of users.

2. Login Issues:

Even after reaching the home page, professionals encounter difficulties in logging into the website. This hurdle further adds to the frustration of users.

3. Form Upload Failures:

If professionals manage to log in, they may still face issues when trying to upload forms. The process often fails, leaving users stranded without successful submissions.

4. Blank Screens:

In some cases, even after successfully uploading a form, users are greeted with blank screens, making it difficult to confirm if the submission was successful or not.

Technical issues also extend to payment processing and the non-issuance of Challans, causing inconvenience and delays in compliance.

6. Digital Signature Registration Challenges:

Directors’ digital signatures play a vital role in MCA V2 and V3 portals, but technical problems related to their registration, software issues, and frequent software upgrades have been persistent challenges.

7. OTP for KYC of Foreign Directors:

Professionals often report not receiving OTPs (One-Time Passwords) required for the KYC (Know Your Customer) process of foreign directors, adding another layer of complexity.

Above given are some of the technical difficulties faced by various professionals. Lot of time and energy is devoted for this work but the result is that the forms remain to be uploaded on time. Stress levels increases if the form upload work is not done and also monetary loss to the corporate by way of addition Fees if forms not uploaded on time. Appropriate authorities will look into the matter and resolve various technical issues/smooth and fast working of the Website. It will help ease of doing business as well as ease of doing Profession for the professionals thereby increasing Corporate Governance level.
