Coforge Limited, a global leader in AI-native engineering services, has announced a strategic partnership with Driving Forward, a U.S.-based nonprofit organisation. This collaboration aims to expand career pathways for first-generation and under-resourced college students in Chicago. The announcement was made during the 2026 Annual Celebration of Driving Forward, where Coforge participated as an Opportunity Sponsor.
Driving Forward is dedicated to assisting students in building practical skills, confidence, and professional networks through various programs, including paid internships, one-on-one mentorship, project-based learning, and career-readiness training. Since its inception in 2020, the organisation has positively impacted nearly 280 students. Coforge’s sponsorship underscores its commitment to enhancing access to career development opportunities and supporting the next generation of professionals. Several Coforge employees have volunteered to serve as mentors, further solidifying the company’s dedication to this cause.
Preeti Singh, EVP & Head of US Geo at Coforge, highlighted the importance of equal access to mentorship and professional networks. She stated, “Talent is everywhere, but access to mentorship, practical experience, and professional networks is not always equal. Through our support of Driving Forward, we are proud to help students build the skills and connections that can open doors as they begin their careers.” Marvin Richardson, Board Chair and Co-Founder of Driving Forward, expressed gratitude for Coforge’s investment, noting that the sponsorship would provide essential mentorship and practical experience to students from financially disadvantaged backgrounds.
The 2026 Annual Celebration in Chicago drew approximately 100 attendees, including students, volunteer mentors, and executives from the healthcare and business communities. The event served as a platform for students to share their career journeys and for mentors to discuss the value of preparing students for professional opportunities. Analysts view this partnership as a strategic move by Coforge to enhance its corporate social responsibility initiatives while fostering a diverse and skilled future workforce.
