The following Daman and Diu Value Added Tax (Amendment) Regulation, 2015 (No. 2 of 2015) published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II -Section 1, dated 10th December, 2015/Agrahayana 19, 1937 (Saka) is hereby republished in the Official Gazette of this UT Administration of Daman & Diu for general information of the public.
This amendment shall come into force with immediate effect.

THE DAMAN AND DIU VALUE ADDED TAX (AMENDMENT) REGULATION, 2015
NO. 2 OF 2015
Promulgated by the President in the Sixty-sixth Year of the Republic of India.
A Regulation to amend the Daman and Diu Value Added Tax Regulation, 2005.
In exercise of the powers conferred by article 240 of the Constitution, the President is pleased to promulgate the following Regulation made by him:-
1. Short title and commencement
(1) This Regulation may be called the Daman and Diu Value Added Tax (Amendment) Regulation, 2015.
(2) It shall come into force on such date as the Administrator may, by notification in the Official Gazette, appoint.
2. Amendment of section 4.
In the Daman and Diu Value Added Tax Regulation, 2005 (Reg. 1 of 2005.) (hereinafter referred to as the principal Regulation), in section 4, in sub-section (1), in clause (b), for the words “four per cent.” the words “five per cent.” shall be substituted.
3. Amendment of Third Schedule
In the principal Regulation, in the Third Schedule, in the heading, for the words “four per cent.” the words “five per cent.” shall be substituted.
