Survey questionnaire on Paying Taxes by DPIIT (Ease of Doing Business)

Quality Council of India (QCI) is an autonomous organization set up under the auspices of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry 

With the objective of improving reform implementation, we are conducting an exercise on behalf of the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), Ministry of Commerce & Industry to gauge user feedback on reforms undertaken for Ease of Doing Business in India.

Ease of Doing Business exercise is performed by World Bank, which ranks 190 countries on the basis of their business environment as well as the ease with which business regulation is complied with. One of the indicators, assessed by the World Bank, is Paying Taxes.

We are seeking feedback from lawyers on the implementation of these reforms in order to monitor their impact/effectiveness.

The present questionnaire is on Paying Taxes. It captures the taxes and mandatory contributions, that, a medium-size company must pay or withhold in a given year. Further, it also pertains to the administrative burden of paying taxes and contributions.
