Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Department of Commerce, Directorate General of Foreign Trade, issued Notification No. 11/2024-25-DGFT on May 6th, 2024, regarding the export of food commodities through the National Cooperative Exports Limited (NCEL).
Under the powers conferred by Section 3 read with section 5 of the Foreign Trade (Development & Regulation) Act, 1992, and in accordance with the Foreign Trade Policy, 2023, the Central Government permits the export of Non-Basmati White Rice (HS code: 1006 30 90) to Mauritius, totaling 14,000 Metric Tons (MT) through NCEL.
This notification allows for the export of the specified quantity of Non-Basmati White Rice to Mauritius via NCEL.

S.O. 1929(E).—In exercise of powers conferred by Section 3 read with section 5 of the Foreign Trade (Development & Regulation) Act, 1992 (No. 22 of 1992), as amended, read with Para 1.02 and 2.01 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2023 and in accordance with the provision contained in Para 2 (iv) of Notification No. 20/2023 dated 20.07.2023, the Central Government permits export of the following food commodity through National Cooperative Exports Limited (NCEL): –
