The Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT), through Notification No. 34/2026-27 dated 24th August 2026, amended the export policy of wheat flour and related products under Schedule 2 of the ITC (HS) Export Policy. Exercising powers under Section 5 read with Section 3 of the Foreign Trade (Development & Regulation) Act, 1992, as amended, and Para 1.02 and 2.01 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2023, the Central Government revised the export policy for ITC (HS) Code 11010000, covering Wheat or Meslin Flour (Atta), Maida, Samolina (Rava / Sirgi), Wholemeal atta and resultant atta, from “Prohibited” to “Free”. The notification provides that the revised export policy shall apply with immediate effect. Accordingly, wheat flour and related products falling under HS Code 11010000 can be exported under the revised “Free” policy. The notification was issued by Lay Agarwal, Director General of Foreign Trade & Ex-Officio Additional Secretary to the Government of India, from File No. 01/91/171/012/AM23/EC/E-32030.

Subject: Amendment in the Export Policy of Wheat Flour and related products —regarding.
S.O. (E).— In exercise of powers conferred by Section 5 read with Section 3 of the Foreign Trade (Development & Regulation) Act, 1992 (No. 22 of 1992), as amended, read with Para 1.02 and 2.01 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2023, the Central Government hereby makes the following amendment in the Export Policy of Wheat Flour and related products under Schedule 2 of the ITC (HS) Export Policy:
